Our Turbomachinery & Process Solutions team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy. We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.
Job Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will play a key role in our daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on our production line. You will get hands-on experience in assembling innovative and cutting-edge products for the energy industry. You will be part of a team that ensures the highest quality of our custom builds.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling and testing of control valves and their accessories.
- Performing pre-job duties, machine inspection, and tester condition as per checklist.
- Maintaining workstation, records, and communications as required.
- Vouchering worked hours applicable to the manufacturing activity assigned.
- Preparing control valves and its sub-assembly parts for shipment.
- Following shop floor policy related to working shifts, lunch breaks, and PPE usage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Have the ability to read and understand work instructions and procedures.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Have a basic awareness of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Be able to report safety, quality, and route issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal compliance requirements.
