Role Description

As an Associate I - Semiconductor Product Validation, your main role will be to execute test cases with accuracy and ensure that critical bugs are reported to avoid incorrect product shipments. You will work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the assigned test grid without deviation.
• Identify product failures and report them in the test repository and bug tracker.
• Detect "out of box" product issues.
• Learn technology, business, and system domains as recommended by the project or account.
• Execute ad-hoc scenarios when needed.
• Report P1/Showstopper issues.

Measures of Outcomes

• Number of ad-hoc scenarios executed.
• Compliance in updating the test repository and bug database.
• Number of P1/Showstopper issues filed.
• Adherence to schedules and timelines.
• Reduction in the reoccurrence of known defects.

Outputs Expected

• Complete project tasks with quality within the expected time frame.
• Estimate time, effort, and resources for your tasks.
• Document your work clearly and report task status.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of computer hardware and components.
• Ability to execute ad-hoc test scenarios.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, BIOS drivers, and display protocols.
• Ability to evaluate test results and perform tests in the customer or target environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge Requirements

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Familiarity with different testing methodologies.
