Job Description
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Undergo training on technology and products offered by Industrial Software CoE. Some of the training will be self-paced computer-based training.
- Assist the assigned mentor on completion of project work or initiatives and activities assigned by the mentor.
- Report progress on a periodic basis to mentors at Emerson and the educational institute.
- Work with mentors assigned by the educational institute to complete all academic requirements.
- Prepare and submit a report on work performed and learnings at the conclusion of the internship.

Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Fluency in English (read, write, speak).
- Ability to work effectively with a team toward project success.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Understanding of P&IDs, PFDs.
- Willingness to undergo technical and soft skills training as assigned.
- Knowledge of unit operations, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods, and industrial stoichiometry.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Self-awareness and personal development focus.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing completion of B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Polymer, or Petroleum Engineering (VIIth or VIIIth Semester).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
