Key Responsibilities
- Design, Implement, and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Develop robust and efficient continuous integration and delivery pipelines for multiple complex projects.
- Automate Infrastructure: Use infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and cloud platforms to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Monitor Systems: Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to define and implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize service disruptions.
- On-call Support: Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response.
- Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and implement performance optimization strategies.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of deployment and release processes.
- Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Application Security: Collaborate with security teams to ensure application security.
Requirements
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ~1 year of experience as a Software Development Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, React JS, Python, Shell, or Ruby.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of networking and security principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Programming languages, Web Development, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) is a plus.
