Program Overview
Selected applicants will be matched to a team and will need to colocate. Teams could be in Hyderabad, Gurugram, Mumbai, or Bengaluru. Relocation assistance is provided for those moving more than 100 km to their matched office location.
Apprenticeships are not full-time permanent opportunities. The program is 24 months long. Recent graduates and individuals with work experience in other industries are welcome to apply. However, this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
The selection process will take around 18 to 20 weeks. Please be patient during this time. Applications must be completed by Oct 23, 2024, 11 PM IST.
Applicants can choose their preferred working location from Hyderabad, Telangana; Gurgaon, Haryana; Mumbai, Maharashtra; or Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Less than 1 year of experience in data analytics post-graduation.
- Experience using Google Workspace (Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets, etc.) or similar applications.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of SQL programming.
- Knowledge of data analysis or interest in working with numbers and patterns.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous tasks and seek solutions or help when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
About the Job
The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a 24-month learning and development program. Apprentices will join in person at their assigned office and participate full-time (about 40 hours per week). The program includes work experience with a Google team, supported by external training for those looking to start a career in Data Analytics. Apprentices spend 20% of their time studying in a tailored training program and the remaining time on projects with Google teams to gain experience.

Responsibilities
- Accurately assess data, identify anomalies, and create documents for knowledge sharing.
- Conduct custom analyses to uncover industry insights for Google’s customers.
- Solve real-world problems while learning from industry leaders.
- Use data to quantify the business impact of Google media recommendations.
- Gain an understanding of the data lifecycle and how it applies to various business units.
- Develop skills in data analysis using spreadsheets and programming languages to organize and analyze data.
