Job Description
Bank of America is seeking an Analyst for Market Operations at its Hyderabad, India location. This role involves working with Derivatives Collateral Operations to manage margining for OTC, Repo Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, and Repo agreements. The successful candidate will work with various financial instruments and processes to reduce the bank’s credit exposure risk on derivative trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily margining for customers across various products (Rates, Commodity, Structured Credit, Equity, Foreign Exchange, and Repo, Futures & Options).
- Evaluating counterparty’s net exposure to determine collateral requirements.
- Making and receiving margin calls and exchanging collateral.
- Performing security optimization, journal processing, liquidity, and regulatory reporting.
Global Markets Business Finance & Control (BF&C)
This role also involves working in P&L production, covering the Fixed Income, FX, and Equity trading desks. You will deliver daily P&L to the front office, providing analysis and explanations for any issues and revenue drivers.
- Produce and deliver daily P&L to front office.
- Analyze daily revenue drivers and explain any discrepancies.
- Work with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, and Trade Capture teams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Managing security setup, rates, and factor updates.
- Performing pre-matching, settlements, and depot transfers for EMEA Securities.
- Ensuring all trades are booked in the correct valuation models.
- Reconcile trade bookings and ensure no discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Experience in trade and P&L production.
- Proficiency in handling financial instruments such as Fixed Income, Equities, Futures, and Options.
- Experience with trade flow, margin payments, and risk management.
- Ability to work independently or in a team on complex projects.
