What you will be doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development
• Codes, tests, debugs, and documents complex programs, enhancing existing programs to meet user requirements
• Develops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary web applications
• Identifies and resolves system operating problems for continuous business operations
• Assists in scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating project costs
• Designs and develops web-based content and software applications
• Reports daily project status and documents all code changes in the issue tracking system
• Ensures all source code changes are associated with an existing task in the issue tracking system
• Updates the issue tracking system with new requests from team members or stakeholders
• Collaborates with project lead and stakeholders to formulate sprint backlog
• Conducts testing and analyses to ensure software/hardware meets or exceeds standards
• Identifies, recommends, and implements improvements for engineering and service strategies
• Supports technical issues, rollouts, implementations, and upgrades
• Supervises external engineering vendors, provides feedback on testing, and supports technicians
• Focuses on ensuring security in the software development lifecycle

What your background should look like

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Certifications:

• Android Development Certification
• Microsoft Asp.Net Certification
• Microsoft Certified Engineer
• TOGAF Certification
• Certified Scrum Master
• SAFe Agile Certification
• DevOps Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Work Experience:

0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in software design and development.
