What You’ll Do

As a Technical Support Specialist - Intern at Teradata, you will work in a fast-paced, demanding technical customer support environment. You will perform troubleshooting activities, escalate issues to the appropriate teams, and assist in communicating solutions to customers. You will develop and maintain a working knowledge of current hardware, software, firmware, processes, and tools. This role requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a 24x7 environment. The position will support international customers, including those in Japan, with after-hours requirements, so proficiency in English is a plus.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Effective oral and written communication skills in English
• 0-1 years of technical support-related experience
• Good knowledge of databases and operating systems
• Experience in a help desk or customer service position is a plus
