Job Description
About The Role: The Feed Team at ShareChat is responsible for ensuring users see relevant posts in their feeds. This role focuses on building and improving models to pick posts from millions of options so they can reach the users.
Key Responsibilities
- Querying the Database: Using SQL to run queries on analytical engines such as Google BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.
- Scripting: Writing scalable scripts to fetch or modify data from API endpoints.
- Analytical Skills: Working with large amounts of user behaviour data on ShareChat and analyzing it to find conclusions.
- Critical Thinking: Identifying trends and patterns in data to come up with new conclusions based on the findings.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in data analysis to come to correct conclusions.
Skills Required
- Experience in using BI tools such as Superset, Redash, Metabase, etc.
- Experience in Python/R.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Understanding of AI/ML (preferable).
